Welcome to the Connexis user guide! Connexis is a new web-based design product that provides structural engineers and consulting design engineers the ability to automatically design a full model’s steel connections to a fabricator's level of detail.

Steel construction is a team effort with countless revisions, so it is more important than ever that engineers have integrated design tools to quickly and easily export/import data for quick and accurate analysis. Connexis can import models from Allplan and SDS2 using their direct-to-Bimplus import options, and will design the model for all connections at once—no more selecting a single 2D node from a library for individual design results.

Not only are your steel connections designed for code-based limit states, but Connexis also checks constructability, buildability, and erectability at each node. This unique design helps engineers avoid costly coordination issues by designing steel connections more accurately sooner in their design process. Because Connexis is a cloud-based product, it can be accessed anywhere and at any time for simple and quick comprehensive connection design.
