Defining or Changing Property Set Templates
If you want to exchange data in accordance with the IFC standard, you need a basic set of properties. However, creating a property set template from scratch is not only time-consuming but also prone to errors. Therefore, you cannot do this in Bimplus.
But you can create your own property set templates by copying the predefined property set templates and customizing these copies to suit your needs and requirements. All predefined property set templates contain the minimum of property sets required in accordance with the IFC standard. This ensures that all property set templates derived comply with the minimum requirements in accordance with the IFC standard.
To create your own property set template, copy one of the predefined property set templates and customize the copy by changing or adding property sets.
